Community Leadership Fund

The Community Leadership Fund allows the Foundation to provide important services to improve the community in four significant ways:

  1. Increasing Donor Impact: Giving donors opportunities to learn about pressing needs in the community through the Giving Together Catalogue, lectures, workshops, and roundtables, and ways they can structure their giving to make the biggest possible difference.
  2. Improving Nonprofit Performance: Offering workshops and other technical assistance through the Philanthropy HUB to help local nonprofits increase efficiency and effectiveness. Topics include Board Development, Financial Oversight, Fundraising, Planned Giving, and much more.
  3. Enhancing SFCF Grantmaking: Improving and increasing the number and size of grants that we make to nonprofits doing excellent work in the community. The Community Leadership Fund allows us to address special and urgent needs (COVID-19) as well as to make multi-year strategic grants that address some of our most challenging community problems.
  4. Investing in Strategic Initiatives: Collaborating and aligning our work with community partners to improve results through collective efforts such as Dollars4Schools, Opportunity Santa Fe, and the New Mexico Health Equity Partnership - all housed here at the Foundation.

The Community Leadership Fund accepts general contributions to support the mission of the Foundation in the community. We encourage contributions so that we may continue to meet the community's changing needs.

Please take a moment to make a generous donation to this important effort.
