Additional SFCF Resources for Nonprofits
How to Start an Agency Endowment Fund
Is your nonprofit board of directors wondering if your organization is ready to start an Endowed Agency Fund? The Santa Fe Community Foundation staff is available to provide a personalized presentation for your board and staff and answer questions about how an agency fund would work for you. Please click here to learn more about opening an Agency Endowment Fund.
Please contact Christa Coggins for more information about starting an Agency Endowment Fund.
Starting a Planned Giving Program
Planned Giving (or estate planning) is a vital tool for nonprofit organizations and can include complex giving vehicles. You don’t need to have a large fundraising staff or attorney on retainer to utilize planned giving options to benefit your organization.
The Santa Fe Community Foundation offers an ongoing series of presentations and workshops for nonprofit leaders. Take a look at the details here. In addition, nonprofits have access to the Planned Giving Hotline, a service that allows you to ask questions via email that address your specific situation.
Santa Fe Community Foundation Charitable Gift Annuity Partnership
Through the Santa Fe Community Foundation, local nonprofit organizations can offer charitable gift annuities to their donors without the headaches of handling the accounting, tax reporting, and investment work. Read the program description and contact our office if you might be interested in joining.
Nonprofit Opportunities Eblast
Each week SFCF compiles announcements by and for nonprofits in our service area and sends them out as the "Nonprofit Opportunities" eblast. Got an announcement? Fill out this form and submit it by Thursday to be included in the next eblast. Not on our list? Sign up using the eNews button to the left.
Fiscal Sponsorship
Santa Fe Community Foundation does not currently offer a fiscal sponsorship program. If you have questions regarding fiscal sponsorship, please contact Christa Coggins.
